
Just like the D3s, users can capture still images from video and continuous shooting can take place at six frames per second. Video clips can be captured using the D-Movie function at 1080p (at 24 fps) HD and 720p (at 30, 25, and 24 fps.) HD. The built-in mono microphone can be used to record the audio or one can hook in an external mic via stereo audio input
Different AF modes can be used for superior subject acquiring and tracking with Single-point AF, Dynamic Area AF, 3D-tracking and Auto-area AF. The viewfinder allows close to 100 percent frame coverage and up to one time magnification.
Fully charged Li-Ion battery can capture up to 1050 shots at single charge. Two SD memory cards can be added at the same time in the Double SD memory card Slot.
